The Aridus safe dehumidifier reliably protects against moisture inside your safe and ensures a permanently dry climate - ideal for preventing the tarnishing of silver, coins or other sensitive materials. Its thoughtful construction offers double protection:
One part of the dehumidifier consists of a robust bag made of 100% polyester non-woven fabric, filled with high-quality silica gel. This powerful desiccant attracts moisture like a magnet and stores it securely inside. An integrated colour indicator reliably shows the saturation level: blue stands for "dry", pink signals that the bag needs to be dried.
The second part of the system is a mesh bag made of 100% polyester, equipped with Intercept inserts. Intercept technology protects against corrosion and tarnishing by permanently binding corrosive gases in the air, thereby creating a stable, neutral atmosphere - with a protective effect of up to 15 years. Both components are firmly connected to each other via a Velcro fastener.
Once saturated, the dehumidifier can be dried quickly and in an environmentally friendly way - reusable and easy to handle.
